It's uses include - ceramics, sensitizing agent for glass, plastics, and paper before metallizing, manufacture of 'Purple of Cassius' to color glass, dyes, polymers, phosphors, textiles, tin galvanizing, silvering mirrors, gold detection, mordant, food preservatives, pharmaceuticals, tanning agent, removing ink stains, catalyst in organic reactions, yeast revivers, stabilizer in perfumes and soaps, and soldering fluxes.
