Xylitol is a natural sugar alcohol found in plants, including many fruits and vegetables. It has a sweet taste and is often used as a sugar substitute.

Xylitol tastes sweet but, unlike sugar, it doesn't cause tooth decay. It reduces levels of decay-causing bacteria in saliva and also acts against some bacteria that cause ear infections. It's widely used in "sugar-free" chewing gums, mints, and other candies.

Suggested Use:

Mix 1 teaspoon (3g) of Xylitol in foods and beverages as a replacement for sugar and other sweeteners.  Use up to 1 - 3 teaspoons to achieve desired sweetness.

No wheat, no gluten, no soybeans, no dairy, no egg, no fish / shellfish, no peanuts/tree nuts, no salt, no starch, no yeast, no preservatives, no artificial colours, no artificial flavours, or artificial sweeteners.  Suitable for vegetarians / vegans.

Packaged by weight, not by volume.  For human consumption only.  Daily consumption of more than 25g of Xylitol may cause diarrhoea, which stops after use is discontinued.  Store in a cool, dry place.  Keep out of the reach of children.

Do not feed to animals / pets.

Ingestion of Xylitol, in any product is a veterinary medical emergency if consumed by pets, especially dogs, ferrets and rabbits.  If you suspect that your pet has ingested Xylitol you should seek veterinary medical attention immediately.

- Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.  Keep in a cool, dry place.  Keep out of the reach of children.

- Once opened, the package needs to be resealed to preserve the best quality.
